Hey! My name is Olathe. This is my introduction post on ‘Like Life 
.’
So… As I was getting my blog ready and preparing things and generating ideas, I was telling my parents about how I really want to write about everything! How I want to be a passionate writer and take after my models like, Hannah Faver and Dannah Gresh. How they bring their personal stories in life, even some really embarrassing ones (Like Hannah shaving off half her eyebrow) and bringing God into them! How beautiful is that? To be able to take daily life situations and find God in them! That just amazes me, and also their truthfulness and humility. They never said “Oh look at my life, be like me. I’m perfect. Gods working through me!” No! They don’t do that at all. They share about the hard challenges that they didn’t think they were able to get through, but did. Then they encourage others who are going through similar experiences and tell them that if they were able to get through it, they will to. They give people hope… and that’s how I want to be.
So anyways, back to what I was saying… (Wow, I apologize, I do get distracted easily so bear with me.) So as I finished telling my parents all that, my beautiful mother (literally beautiful) asked me “so what’s your first blog going to be about?” I explained to her how I was going to probably write an introduction blog first. She gave me a weird look and groaned “Ohhh… Your not going to be one of those people who write an introduction blog and like never write again, right?!?” and so I am writing this to assure you… I will not just stop! I will keep writing after this. But, I do want you to understand… I am known for starting things and NOT finishing them. So this will be a little bit of a challenge for me. But soon that will all change! Its a new day and I’m a new person.
My Goals:
-To become a strong writer and inspire others.
-To be consistent.
-To find God in daily life situations.
-Grow into the woman of God I’m called to be.
-Discover God in a new and deeper way. (and also help others do the same.)
-To get people thinking (something called “putting a stone in someones shoe” as Greg Koukl would say.)

Love your introduction blog. I think it’s a great idea to begin. Your words are so expressive of who you are and your love to encourage others. You already have a wonderful talent to wrote and you will gain so much through your expressions of life and of God. Way to go! I send my love and encouragement to you.
